We are
always looking for trustees for our Board who can add to the future
of the Foundation.
The Foundation was incorporated as a General Not for Profit
Corporation in Illinois in 1985. Officer positions are held for one
year and elected at the annual Board meeting in January of each
year. The Board members serve as trustees of the Foundation.
The Board conducts fundraising to improve the quality and variety of program offerings of the Association. Board trustees can include parents or siblings of people with disabilities as well as concerned community members. WSSRF trustees are drawn from the communities that the Association serves as well as the community at large.
An annual Foundation Board meeting is held in January to elect new officers and to approve the annual budget of the Foundation. Six general board meetings are held throughout the year. Committee meetings are held as needed.
The Foundation's success is dependent on the efforts of many individuals. Your commitment to WSSRF will make a huge difference in the lives of people with disabilities! |
